Names, clients, IBANs, AVS numbers: most of what we paste into an AI was never meant to leave the company. Safe Paste shows you what identifies someone, gives you an anonymised copy to paste instead, and puts the real names back into the answer. The text never leaves your computer.
It is not perfect and does not claim to be. It catches most of what identifies a person or a company; it can miss a nickname, an unusual company name, a project code that only your colleagues would recognise. Read the safe version once before you paste it — that is the whole point of having the last word.
Safe Paste protects one text at a time. Inside a company the same question comes up on every document, every e-mail, every assistant: which data may leave, which must stay — and where the AI actually runs. We help Swiss companies answer it once, choose the tools that respect it and build the assistants that work inside those limits. The first conversation is free.

No. Everything runs in your browser: the rules are JavaScript, the name detector is a model executed on your device. You can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and it keeps working. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent to EasifAI or anyone else.
Consumer AI services may keep what you paste and use it to improve their models; several store it outside Switzerland. Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (nLPD/nDSG) personal data of clients and employees is your responsibility, whoever you hand it to. Removing names and identifiers first keeps the answer just as useful and the risk with you.
German, French, Italian and English — the rules know Swiss formats (AVS, UID, PLZ, phone numbers) and the name detector is multilingual.
The name detector is a compact multilingual model of about 136 MB. Your browser downloads it once from Hugging Face and keeps it in its cache; the next visits are instant. On phones it starts only when you ask.
Each name, company or number is replaced by a placeholder such as [Person 1]. When you paste the AI’s answer, the page swaps the placeholders back to the originals. The matches exist only in this page while it is open.
That is what EasifAI does: the same logic inside your e-mail, your document flow or your own assistant, with AI that stays in Switzerland when it has to. Write to us.
